Frank Lampard will be looking to really make his mark in the transfer market this summer at Stamford Bridge.
With Ajax ace Hakim Ziyech already signed on for next campaign after penning a long-term deal in west London, more players need to follow after Chelsea failed to strengthen in January despite their transfer ban coming to an end.
A host of quality players have been tipped to move to the capital ahead of next season, including Philippe Coutinho, Jadon Sancho and Kai Havertz.
Given the potential arrival of a few new stars over the coming months, Chelsea fans will be looking forward to the day when their squad numbers are confirmed.

With many keen to see who has inherited a number in the traditional 1-11, it also means supporters can finally get printing on the back of their brand new shirt safe in the knowledge that their favourite player won't make a last-minute switch.
But who out of the current squad could take on a new number?
football.london takes a look at three players who could potentially make a switch.
Reece James
Lampard has handed the academy ace his chance in the Chelsea team this season and the youngster has taken his opportunity with both hands.
James has such a huge future ahead of him at the club and he will be the Blues' right-back for years to come.
While the No.2 shirt which all right-backs like to wear isn't available yet as Antonio Rudiger is in possession of it, the 20-year-old could potentially swap his No.24 top for another one in the summer as he's a big part of the head coach's plans.
Could Reece James switch numbers next season?
The likes of 14, 16 and 21 could be available ahead of next season if Tiemoue Bakayoko, Kenedy and Davide Zappacosta depart on a permanent basis.
Fikayo Tomori
Another one of the club's academy graduates who has excelled as part of Lampard's team this campaign has been Tomori.
Familiar with the centre-back following their time together at Derby County, the 22-year-old featured regularly in the first part of the season but he's only played in three games since the turn of the year.
The No.6 shirt is currently free as Danny Drinkwater is out on loan at Aston Villa and this will no doubt be appealing to the young defender ahead of next term.

Tomori is currently the club's No.29 but he could move lower down the numbers with 14, 16 and 21 potentially set to be up for grabs.
Billy Gilmour
One player who is definitely deserving of a new shirt number for next season is Gilmour.
Chelsea have some player on their hands and the midfielder proved his class prior to the break in play with stunning performances against Liverpool and Everton.
Lampard will continue to use the 18-year-old as part of his plans for next season and many fans will be hoping he trades his No.47 shirt in for a better number.
