Premier League clubs have voted to allow five substitutions when the league gets back underway this month.
FIFA had previously confirmed they would allow clubs to make five changes in a game following such a long break from competitive action.
It is a scheme that has already been adopted by Germany's Bundesliga - although the changes can only be done in three goes in order to avoid managers from time-wasting.
In today's latest Project Restart meeting, Premier League clubs have now agreed to also make the switch to five substitutions.

Chelsea's proposal to increase the maximum amount of substitutes on the bench from seven to nine was also approved.
Following last week's agreement to return on June 17, this week's meetings are set to thrash out more detailed plans.
How many substitutes were allowed was expected to be high on the list of discussion points, with some having previously argued that it serves to benefit clubs with greater squad depth.
Under FIFA's rules, teams will still only be limited to three opportunities to make these substitutions.
That means any manager wishing to use all five subs will have to make two double substitutions followed by a single change.
A Premier League statement said: "For the rest of 2019/20 up to five substitutions to be allowed in a match and team benches will increase to nine players
"Premier League shareholders today agreed to temporary changes to the rules relating to substitute players.
"For the remainder of the 2019/20 season, the number of substitutes that can be used during a match will increase from three to five players.
"This is in line with the temporary law amendment made by the International Football Association Board last month.
"Shareholders also approved for clubs to increase the maximum number of substitute players on the bench from seven to nine for the rest of the 2019/20 season."
